Naples Elementary School beleives that every student has the right to feel welcome, safe, and valued. Therefore, our school does not tolerate bullying or hazing in any form. This webpage has been created to help teachers, parents, and students understand what bullying is and what they can do about it.
Question: What is a bully?
A bully is someone who purposefully tries to hurt or make others feel bad. This may include name calling, teasing, spreading rumors, and/or physcial harm.
Question: What can I do to prevent from being bullied?
Remember "C.A.S.T." if you are being bulled.
C = CALM and Confident. Stay calm and have the self confidence that you can handle the situation.
A = AWAY. Move away from the bully!
S = STOP. Tell the bully to STOP!
T = TELL. If they don't stop, go and tell an adult.
